Cru has been attempting to do some more filming but the first attempt didn't go too well. There was a slight technology problem, his thingies weren't talking to each other XD.
We were at the wonderful Starfall, boogying away hoping to dazzle with our moves, when the hiccup occured. So here are a few pics instead :)
So we went back a few nights later when the place was empty and this time it worked, yay! So here's us as we dance for the camera
Yes, all those stories of the Loch Ness monster are true! and finally his/her/it's location can be revealed. After no recent sightings in Scotland it appears Nessie has moved to more temperate climes and is currently residing in the balmy blue waters of Thorstar.
OMG! I've just seen a news report on a guy in Russia who had a 2inch fur tree growing in his lung!
seems this guy was complaining of chest pains and they found a shadow on his lung, so they operated expecting a tumour and found a tiny fur tree!
He must have inhaled a seed or something, but it is really rare for it to have taken root. Not to mention really funny in a sick kinda way lol!
You know when you wake up in a bad mood for no apparent reason? Well that happened to me yesterday and work was a total circus, and not in a good way I can tell you. So after surviving the day on copious amounts of caffine I get home and decide to check my e-mails and found one that really made me smile.
It was from a woman called Jenny who helped us out last year, and she was giving me an update. It's a really happy one so I thought I'd share it with you.
This time last year a young mastiff came into us suffering with the canine parvo virus. A very nasty illness which wreaks havoc on the intestines and can even kill. Her owner didn't get her vaccinated and she was unfortunate enough to contract it. So she comes in and is very sick for about a week before she turns a corner, all the while we're giving her lots of attention as she is a total sweetheart.
So where does Jenny come in? Well, all the time we are treating this dog her owner has only been in touch twice and we then couldn't contact him at all leaving us to conclude that she had been abandoned. So while the bosses did all the correct legal stuff, like writing to her owner etc, we set about finding her a new home. I didn't think she should go into any of the local kennels, as she had been so sick and it's always better to rehome away from the area, so I contacted the mastiff breed society and they put me in touch with a re-homing co-ordinator who happened to be Jenny.
So she came to see our dog, called Dakota, and agreed to take her. She decided to keep her in her own home seeing as she needed extra care and would re-home her when she felt the time was right.A week after she went Jenny got in touch to say Dakota was settling in very well and was casting her spell over them all and that she might be staying right where she was lol!
Well, that is exactly what has happened and yesterday Jenny sent me an update with some new pictures. Dakota, now renamed Star, has turned out to have a few health problems, like being allergic to every meat except lamb, allergies to dandelions, dust and storage mites, and a senstive digestive system caused by the parvo. But other wise she has grown into a beautiful girl, who loves to play frizby with her doggy companions, another mastiff and a cavalier, and doesn't even chase the cat! She also still demands her tummy rubs which she gets by sitting on peoples feet and gazing up at them. Then when they talk to her she flops onto her back legs in the air, apparently she is a real flozzy haha
It is just so nice to hear a story with a happy ending, so just to show you what a difference a year makes, here she is...
and here she is a year later looking beautiful, sharing her bed with a new friend
Or Club Saxon opens..
Last night saw the opening of the new Timelord/Lady hangout Club Saxon. Named after the Master's alias when he last tried to take over the world
As you can see the club comes with all the usual things, dance floor,dj booth,tardis...
The party was opened by Sinji in his guise as manager/host/dj, wearing enough hats there? and so warranted a visit by various Wraeththu
Here we see Spikey doing a good impression of a human, which clearly means several layers of clothes.A somewhat strange experience for our Spikey I imagine, the human thing not the clothes...honest:)
If he strips off this readily as a human can't wait to see what he's like when he's incepted.
Yes, boys and girls, this is an adult club and the neon sign says it all really
Herewe have two fine specimens, Neko Jeremy and human(?) Cal. Cal has obviously just started his dance as Jeremy clearly has a head start in the disrobing stakes...
The Ood barman looks on attentively, waiting for his next customer to come and regale him with sorry tales of woe
Is this what happens when you dance too close to a Tardis? not only have they merged but Xido's head is on backwards!
Yes they really did look like this, it's not just shoddy camera work:)
As the first two hours came to an end, Sinji relinquished one of his hats and turned the dj duties over to Dorv(?), gave his jacket and shirt away and commenced to dance on the stage.
Several other members of the audience had stripped off by this time so maybe the thermostat needs adjusting^_~
Even yous truly was partly nekkid...yes that's right I had no shoes on
Sadly I crashed shortly after this but I'm sure the party carried on merrily for many an hour and a good time was had by all.
Okay I've been attempting to post about two events from last weekend , so far I've tried 5 times and it won't let me!!!! So....
The events where a phoot shoot for Linx, in a 'one night only' Club Inferno, theme, demons disco dancing with humans. Built by Jimmy and music by Sinji.
The second one was the newly opened Zheera Lotus blossom, a project by Dalia, full of wonderful landscaping, relaxing meditation spots and even some magic mushrooms:)
Pictures from both these can be seen in my photos (hopefully)
To all my friends who lurve FF, I've read a review of the new FF Dissidia game for PSP. I know it's not availiable until the autumn here but I thought you might like to know that the review thinks it's the best game of the year! There are a couple of niggles like camera work, but in general it's got a huge thumbs up, aaand it's got Cloud and Seph in it, what more do you need? well....maybe Genesis,Angeal and Zack but hey you can't have everything right.
Of course now I just need a PSP to play both it and Crisis Core! haha
The new Doctor has been announced! He is an actor called Matt Smith, who has appeared in things like 'Ruby in the Smoke' and will of course take over in 2010 when our beloved David Tennent leaves(sobs).
Just thought you all might like to know :)
Just thought I'd mention Crubo's amazing photo of the beautiful Kala(and his cute pet dragon) on Inception magazine.
