No-one has to reply to this or even read it actually, just need to write it down....
Had some bad news today, my oldest friend(we've known each other since we were 8) contacted me to tell me her older brother had died. He was only a couple years older than us. He had a bad accident 5yrs ago resulting in a severe head injury and fractured back so he was on lots of meds for epilepsy and pain and stuff. He had not long since moved back home after getting divorced when his mum found him dead one morning. They ruled accidental death due to the level of drugs in his system simply causing him to stop breathing. It's possible he accidentally overdosed due to a severe headache he'd had for 2 days, but we'll never know.
To made things worse for them, since his death his ex-wife won't let them see his daughter! My friend has managed to see her once but her mum or other brother can't get to. Right now I wanna give her a hug but she lives in New England and my arms aren't long enough.so this will have to do. She says the only good thing to come out of it is that it's made her re-evaluate her life and she realises she has to make a few changes.
There has been tons of upheaval in my SL community too this last week, hopefully it will settle down soon. But I do know I need to broaden my horizons on there a little. Having said that, my friends news has made me realise my addiction to SL is very trivial in the scheme of things and that I need to live more in the real world instead of running from it.. not that I want to loose my SL friends of course.
Sorry to be depressing, but I'm sad for my friend and I'm missing a SL friend who's away..
That got your attention didn't it. Just had to share this story with you, a six week old piglet that was afraid to walk in the mud! Her breeders reckon she has mysophobia..a fear of dirt. When the rest of the litter went out to play in the mud she refused to move. But when they moved her to a dry patch she was fine, so they had special green wellingtons made for her, and now she loves to run in the mud. I kid you not..
Just a happy story to end my working week, that and my 8 day holiday started 1 hour ago Yaaaay!!! Been a very busy orthopaedic week this last week, 4 ops in total. thankfully all successful so far and my little noodle dog came in for a check -up today and she is doing fantastic! already starting to use her repaired leg and happy in her foster home.
So that's workover for a little while, so more time for 2L! watch out guys i'll be there more. Also planning to catch up with my fav programs, yay Supernatural is back on after the whole writers strike break! and generally chilling out!
I decided to give this another try, to post some of those folders full of pictures that I took.
I intended to eventually hang them when they were being shot, so I'll get going on it!
This batch was taken during Aoi and Akai's wedding.
It was in a beautiful yet laggy venue, Aoi's connection was crappy and he kept crashing.
But Aoi was more stubborn than the net and kept returning for the ceremony and it was completed!
Best wishes for a happy life together, Aoi and Akai!!
Present were many friends whom I'm not sure I could remember all the names of, but will try.
(My apologies in advance if I forgot or overlooked anyone!)
Kazunori was there in a beautiful kimono.
I wore a beautiful gown made by Oni and he wore his matching suit.
Standing with Aoi were Vinny and Dov.
Bridesmaids were Karissa and Yukio.
Sitting on the other side of Oni and me was Spikey (correction!) Cotton.
We all had a lovely time at the reception, dancing and having cake.
Speaking of cake...I got the silly idea to see if I could stand on the top of the cake and got a nice view of the whole place.
Hope you enjoy these and future posts because I have alot more folders of pictures!
I have changed the captions on each of these, so when you mouse over you'll see a highlighted one.

I am so MAD!!!!!!!! I hate that mad cow that lives in the flat below me!! Following on from the cutting down of half my tree, the latest in a long line of problems, the local authority sent someone round to talk to me about it, so we had a chat about all the rubbish she does that makes my life hell and he agreed she had no right to cut the tree when he saw where it was etc.
So they're gonna come talk to her and try and sort it out. Well somehow I don't think that is going to work if this evening is anything to go by. I'd arranged for someone to come round to discuss getting my slightly unruly garden back into shape and I chucked in this throw away line about my mad neighbour cutting my tree so I wanted it taking out and whoops she heard. OMG, she opened her window and proceded to tear me to shreds about the state of my garden and how I supposedly complain about her to other people? and stupid stuff like me not closing the gate!!
For a start I hardly ever see any of my other neighbours cos I'm always at work, so who I'm supposed to have complained to I don't know. And I obviously don't close the gate on purpose!! The woman just hates me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't know whether to hit something, scream or just kill myself. Thank god I'm already on anti-depressents and know how to meditate to calm down..... so now I have to phone the case worker again tomorrow to report this incident. Worse thing is, my mum is threatening to come and sort her out, how pathetic does that make me look? She's a fiery one my mum.....gotta love her for it. Told her she is not allowed to as the authority are dealing with it.
I'll keep you posted guys......
want to know what's good about my job? ...
This tiny little girl is 755/5/6/08 aka Noodle, a 12week old staffordshire bull terrier cross. She was brought into us last week by the local police after she was nearly hit by a car, she was out on her own even though she was wearing a collar. When we examined her we found she had a swollen right hind leg, so we x-rayed her and found not a new injury but one that was at least 2 weeks old! Her knee had been broken in 2 places and was healing out of place, leaving her unable to use her leg, she also had a fracture in her pelvis but that was healing okay. We think some b*****d has kicked her and left her injury untended, then whether she got out and got lost or was thrown out we don't know.....
So what's so good about this? Well today we fixed her leg!!! As she couldn't use it the only other option was to amputate it, but our orthopaedic surgeon managed to persuade our boss to let us try to fix it( free of charge too!!). It took 11/2 hrs and involved bone chisels, pins and wires. Her post op x-rays look good and although it's not perfect we think we have 85-90% movement in it. Hopefully this will help her chances of being rehomed when it's time. We can only wait and see..... So now we just give her lots of love and cuddles...
Well, my root canal treatment finally got started this week. At last!! Had the old filling drilled out, the tooth cleaned and dressed and a temp filling put in. It's taken 3 days for it to settle and yesterday it hurt more than it did before, but today it's better. I go for the full root canal/nerve extraction thing in august...
As for the black dog, well that's following me around and yapping in my ear. Most people get happy when it's summer but not me, oh no, come june & the count down to my birthday and there it is, just waiting to make me wonder what the point of it all is. Another year just the same as the last, job I'm not happy in, zero personnal life and some stuff we're doing in SL is making my demons rattle their cage, so all in all not a good time at the moment.
Then as if my mood isn't dark enough my mad freak of a neighbour cut half my eucalyptus tree down yesterday when I was out!!!! I admit my garden needs work but to do that without saying anything to me...I am sooo mad!! Well, that's the last straw, official complaint going into the local authority about it and tons of other stuff she does. Thing is, she has a hedge that is growing over my fence but I'm not allowed to touch that!! how does that work? aaargh she makes me want to scream!!!
I haven't been motivated 'till recently to blog here, when I had a couple of interesting impromptu im chats with Dov during one of his recent sets.
Hope you enjoy the chats as much as we did!
Ima: sugar is a riot!!
Dov: She's SERIOUSLY imbalanced, but in a good way. I love her.
Ima: yeppers
Ima: kinda like Gar but in her own way
Dov: Heheh yeah.
Ima: its the whacky ones we love the most
Dov: Yush indeedy. The ones who say crazy shit and make us randomly laugh and think "god, I wish I hung out with him/her in RL."
Ima: lmao yes
Dov: I love the friends I've made here for being wonderful people, but I ALSO love the randomness like that.
Ima: yayus
Dov: XD
Ima: Ever try to 'splain to someone in RL anything in SL? Always sounds lame yet makes perfect sense to you!!
Dov: Nah. I can't talk to anyone at work about this stuff. My BF will look over my shoulder on occasion, but I he doesn't get it so much.
Ima: I gave up long ago trying to tell ANYONE because they look at me like "loser"
Dov: LMAO
Dov: I know.
Ima: funny thing is, here we learn more about interactions
Dov: At least my BF isn't judgemental. He knows the fun I have here, how much I enjoy it and such. As long as it doesn't take away from time with him, he's cool and he doesn't call me names over it. XD
Ima: yeah I have one or two ppl like that, but the rest are "Don't bother me while I live in TV Land!"
Dov: Yeah. There are a lot of people here we'd never deal with in RL otherwise on this level. So we get to meet some people waaaay out of our usual circles.
Dov: LMAO @ TV land
Dov: I know what u mean Ima.... it's passive entertainment
Dov: As compared to this'
Ima: Not only that, we learn more about how to interact on personal and other types of levels
Ima: yeah I get SO bored with tv after 10 mins
Dov: Usually. Yeah.
Dov: How many times a night can you be surprised and entertained in SL as compared to a night of TV?
Ima: I dunno, so often would lose count! (sorry just now saw the Q)
Dov: LMAO
Dov: NP
Ima: TV is entertaining to a point, but the fun here is interacting with it....sure, there's some tv shows that encourage ppl to call #s but compared to this, that's downright lame!
Dov: Mos def. The difference is between being SHOWN something and being PART OF something.
Ima: yep...with tv, its only fun if you're with others to talk about it
Dov: Yup.
Ima: SL lies and says you're typing!
Dov: LMAO I'm not
Ima: that's how I got it to stop!
Dov: Hehehe
Ima: yannow, this might be a good thing to blog....
Ima: if'n you don't mind
Dov: Not at all. Just clean up the drunken typos from yers truly. XD
Dov: Actually, there may not have been any. XD
Ima: luls
Ima: Deal
--------------------
Fayette Aeon: omg these mashups are awesome!
Fayette Aeon: I have died and gone to heaven
Dov Watanabe: Hehehe
---------------------
Dov: You know what's cool? When a totally different crowd comes in, people who have never heard this stuff. And they react to it this way.
Dov: I love that.
Ima: I totally hear ya and its so nice to hear
Ima: check this out...
Ima: [2:07] Ima Peccable: You have an interesting profile [2:08] Avium Watanabe: lol, thanks :p [2:08] Ima Peccable: I hope you come back here often! [2:09] Avium Watanabe: I will, I like you all, and the music actually rules! [2:10] Ima Peccable: Dov is my fave dj, there's others (here) who play various genres. He plays Wed. and Thurs. nights [2:10] Ima Peccable: sorry tired and not typing well [2:11] Avium Watanabe: sweet, and this is the place where all th parties are? don't worry about typos, i'm no typo police : D [2:12] Ima Peccable: lols [2:12] Ima Peccable: yep lots of them happen here [2:12] Avium Watanabe: sweet!!! [2:12] Avium Watanabe: and pulse nation will send me the updates? [2:13] Ima Peccable: notices daily!! [2:13] Avium Watanabe: so sweet!!! :D
Dov Watanabe: Sweeeet. We'll be seeing him again. As soon as he said he liked the tunes, I knew we had a repeat customer in the making.
Ima: yeppers
Ima: the girls here love the tunes too
Dov: Awesome.
Ima: your work is paying off :)
Dov: Hehehe I hope so!
Ima: fayette loves it
Ima: she seems real cool too
Ima: all that other horsing around with the earlier crowd is a blast but this really rules...times like this!
Dov: It's different. More of a buzz.
Dov: Keeps me on my toes more.
Ima: mhmmm
Ima: it's more what the tunes are about
Ima: this crowd appreciates the songs most
Dov: The novelty of it is getting them.
Ima: yes
Dov: I mean.. we DO have a cool set of DJs here.
Dov: And a lot of places in SL don't.
Ima: It's similar to the parkade crowd
Ima: yeah
Dov: God I love to hear that. XD
Ima Peccable beams
Ima: thanks so much for another great night
Dov: Welkies. Glad you stayed so late!
Ima: It was awesome
I can't believe it's been almost a month since I last blogged! I've had some really upsetting things happen in RL but with all the love and support that I've received from friends and family, I feel fortunate to be so blessed. I've got some truly awesome updates though that bring a smile to my face and fill my heart with warmth and love each time I think about them.
Aoi is such a treat and I love him dearly - he's the best I could hope for in a friend and I love him like a brother. When he adopted me as his sissy, I was so touched that my eyes filled with tears. I try to not to think too much about the family tree cause that would make Ash my mom and having her as a boss is more than enough...tee hee hee
Not only are Aoi and I family now, we're roommates! We're living on my land but in Aoi's house which is GORGEOUS! I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful place to live or a more fun roommie....*grin*
Having been close friends before we started dating we know and understand each other on so many levels that it gives our relationship so much more depth and meaning and Angel constantly amazes me with his consideration, kindness and completely unconditional love. I feel very blessed, honored and cherished - my heart in safe-keeping as our relationship continues to grows stronger in both worlds.
This picture was taken the date that we partnered...meow, he's so damn sexy...*big dreamy sigh*
More to follow....

You know how it is, you take all these snapshots to your harddrive and subsequently take ages to sort them out, resize and upload. This gardening competition run over at Elf Clan was ages ago but being of sound mind (and even sounder body, at least in SL) i still remember what went on. The comp was to build a garden using a designated area and only 100 prims. What a task! There were some amazing gardens produced and i managed to take reasonable photos of most of them although i have to say, a lot hit the cutting room floor!
A garden with sculptie fantastic trees, flowing water sculpture and birdhouse with birdie. There was also a nice bench with this which isn't in shot. The only thing that let this garden down was that the pond was surrounded by housing bricks. Otherwise, it had a really nice feel to it.
Here's more of the sculpted trees and a butterfly particle effect, lilies on the trees. There's a bas relief effect at the back of the pond on the upright, a couple sitting together in Art Deco style. In the background you can see the edge of the Sim. This competition was held in the sandbox of Elf Clan, a good place to pick up building tips and meet weird and wonderful characters like dragons, orcs and persistantly dancing faeries.
A wonderful 3D effect water feature with fountain. Really liked this one. I know that there's a free program which renders flat images into 3D effects like this one, you do a bit at a time and then join up prims as you do them because SL can't take too much fiddling at any one time. Try telling that to Crubo.
In the background is another garden with pink flamingos and fountains that looked like they were producing candies. I guess it was a garden of sweets! A chocolate toadstool would have been good.
This had to be my favorite garden although it didn't win the competition. Produced by Celeste Auer who actually keeps bearded dragons in her Australian home. She makes them in SL, too. So here's the front bit of the garden where you can take tea with two dragons, and the back bit had a gazebo with dance poseballs. Also covered with many flowers and a floating pink particle effect.
The other bit of Celeste's garden where me and Kalalicious were demonstrating the dance as the judges went around, and we were making copious comments as to how lovely the garden was. Hahahaha! It didn't really help.
Now this is looking into the next garden where the entrant had done the most amazing faery trees for very little prims. They looked like oval wheeping willows and the oval of branches and blossoms sort of moved like a jellyfish does in the sea - opening and closing the oval shape in response to breezes. Further on in the background some joker has not been able to restrain him/herself and started to build something else right in the middle of a competition. Such is the building mania here, which i can well understand! Just checking my textures, folks. Be back in half an hour.
Now this garden had a most amazing particle effect which is quite hard to show the true magnificence of, but the flowers 'grew' from the carpet of green and then faded away. It appeared like the flowers were constantly forming and reforming and this had a rather soothing effect. The entrant had placed candles around and the whole atmosphere was meditative. Rugs had been included so one could sit down and become immersed in the whole show.
Me and Kala get well into the meditative garden. Behind us is the hanging garden of Babylon, about 2% of it - a brave try, i thought. It was trying gamely to mingle with our hairdos.
The meditative garden from another side and also showing more of the candy garden.
This was gorgeous. Mostly a stone surrounded pond with excellent foaming water that also swirled about. Now i like water effects and thought i'd seen most of them, but that one was really original. It looked exactly like when you run a hot bath and use old fashioned bath salts which foam madly when you throw them into the waters. Roman Spa bath anyone? There was also a faery seated in the middle of the swirling brew probably wondering how she was going to get outta there alive.
A garden full of electric light trees! Totally surreal and they had sparkling stars in them. The brilliance had to be seen to be appreciated. After a while Kala decided they were all too much and we left blinking and hoping that the light would fade soon. The lawn was pretty emerald as well. Ag help those with really good graphics cards.
A revolving shape that i'm sure Sinji would appreciate, placed over a lily pond. Excellent columns, they looked good up close and i know where those metallic textures hailed from, too! Hehehe Sirena, here we come. In the background, some beautiful and original cherry trees and a lone heron eyes the stepping stone and lanterns. Very creative!
One of the winners and rightly so. The entrant made excellent use of height and levels of gardening. Masses of toadstools, flowers and sculptural shapes, and in the centre stood a faery. Just so pretty and Hans Christian Anderson. Another one that had to be seen to be fully appreciated.
Here's more of a close up of the faery. She's over a purple flowing water effect. I'd like to see that transferred to the Chelsea Flower Show which is currently running in London, UK. Great gardening.
Remember the jellyfish trees garden? Well, here it is from the opposite end. There's a swing made in the shape of a single leaf. Brilliant garden. There's a lot more to it than this photo shows, underneath the trees were small groups of toadstools where you could sit and contemplate the trees, and the whole thing was perfectly coordinated colourwise.
A lovely Japanese garden complete with Bonsai trees and red acers. Good water effect, too. It's a great pity that i can't show you the moving water as it was very subtle with spray and foam coming off it. The garden was peaceful and balanced and if i remember rightly, this was the other joint winner.
Panning back a bit to show you the archway of the Japanese garden and the seating area. At the side there is the beginning of the Elf Clan market building. All of this garden was original textures and very well done. That's all the photos now, hope you enjoyed them!
